International University of Management

The International University of Management (IUM) is a state-recognized private university in Windhoek, Namibia. Campuses are located in Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Ongwediva, and Nkurenkuru. Former Namibia Minister of Education David Namwandi established the university.

The Institute of Higher Education was founded in 1994 in Windhoek North by one professor and one student. It was granted university status in 2002. In April 2011, International University of Management opened a new campus in Windhoek's Dorado Park neighborhood. President Hifikepunye Pohamba praised the university's growth and called for more public-private collaboration in tertiary education.

International University of Management offers bachelor's and master's degrees in Strategic Management Information Technology, Human Resources, Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality, Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance Management, HIV/AIDS Management, and other fields.
