IronSource
IronSource was founded in 2010 in Tel Aviv, by Tomer Bar-Zeev. IronSource subsidiaries include AfterDownload, Upopa, and SuperSonic. IronSource focuses on developing technologies for app monetization and distribution, with core products focused on the app economy.
In 2011, IronSource released its first product, InstallCore. It has been observed to use stealth techniques to avoid being tracked by antivirus and other security software and to bypass authentication checks by signing programs with security certificates illegal. In addition, IronSource was one of the first mobile SDK vendors to support augmented reality ads for game developers. IronSource has launched an ad revenue measurement tool that allows developers to measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns in line with other similar tools used by developers as a means of measuring return on ad spend (ROAS).
This company is one of the "dark horses" of Israel, with an initial capital of $ 105 million in February, they have now reached over $ 1 billion and are making "hundreds of millions of dollars" in profit with more than a billion people using it every year, says founder and CEO Tomer Bar Zeev. Bar Zeev's management style is unique, he buys companies and invites founders to run with him. That way, IronSource currently has eight co-founders, and the number is still growing.
