It's Not Up to You to Save Me, Jack.
Rose remembers Jack as her savior, the one who rescued her from a fate worse than death. He showed her a different way of living, a way that was full of adventure, passion and freedom. But when they first met on the Titanic, Rose was not ready to embrace his offer. She was trapped in a cage of social expectations, engaged to a man she despised, and desperate to escape. Rose warned Jack to stay away from her, to not interfere with her affairs. Rose thought he was just a poor artist, a nobody who had nothing to offer her.
However, Rose actually did not realize that he had something more valuable than money or status: he had a heart. A heart that saw her for who she really was, and loved her unconditionally. A heart that would sacrifice everything for her, even his own life.
