Jackie Chan sometimes uses stuntmen for walking scenes
Jackie Chan is willing and able to carry out his own stunts, but it doesn't mean that stuntmen are no longer in demand. Chan admitted to Yahoo! in 2013 that stunt actors have occasionally filled in for him in his films when his character is required to drive, move around, or carry out other simple duties so Chan may rest. The actor added that in order to prepare for his time in front of the camera, he hires stuntmen to execute stunt tests.
To be specific, the actor admitted utilizing a stunt double for "Police Story 2013," although they were used for situations like driving and walking which are basic acts. The martial arts actor said that none of the fighting scenes in this movie were performed by stunt people. He claimed that despite using stunt actors for non-fighting scenes for a long time, people didn't notice.
Jackie Chan has his own stuntmen team. A team of stuntmen and martial artists known as the Jackie Chan Stunt Team or Jackie Chan's Stuntmen Association works with Jackie Chan. It was founded in the 1970s and at first featured martial artists and action stuntmen from Hong Kong. Over the following decades, it grew to feature talent from across the world.
