JB Restaurant

JB is the restaurant of Bratovž family, located in the heart of Ljubljana in a prominent building. It designed by Jože Plečnik, a well-known Slovenian architect. Without Plečnik, Ljubljana would not be as magnificent as it is today, as he gave it a distinct identity through his recognizable aesthetics.

A restaurant with large windows, an impressive art collection, and a magnificent marble floor is elegant and sophisticated, but also cozy and family-like. Despite the hustle and bustle outside, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm and relaxing, making it ideal for business lunches, informal gatherings, and romantic moments. For things not to be too simple, Bratovž’s dishes are based on the relationship between four basic elements: water is the symbol of the salty, the air of the sour, the earth of the sweet, and fire of the bitter.
