Jebel El Ajered
With an elevation of 4,544 feet above sea level, Jebel el Ajered is the third tallest peak on Al Qasrayn. Djebel el Adjered, Djebel el Ajered, and Jabal al Ajrad are all names for the same mountain. Morning Sunrise is at 06:14 and Evening Sunset is at 18:46 at Jebel el Ajered. The mountain can be found in the Kasserine region in central-western Tunisia.
The high slopes of Jebel el Ajered are covered in pine forest. The region surrounding the mountain is protected and managed by the Department of Natural Resources, who have several guards patrolling the area at all hours of the day and night. Few people visit Jebel el Ajered, who mostly come for picnics and sight-seeing. However, many tourists avoid Mount Jebel el Ajered's peak due to the insecurity in the area. At the foot of Mount Jebel el Ajered, there are wells and ruins that indicate the area was inhabited over 5000 years ago.
