Jirisan (2021)

Jirisan is a South Korean television series starring Jun Ji-hyun and Joo Ji-hoon. It is named after the eponymous mountain in South Korea and has been promoted as "tvN's 15th Anniversary Special Drama". It premiered on tvN from October 23 to December 12, 2021, and aired every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 (KST). The series is available on iQIYI worldwide for streaming.

Kang Hyun-jo is played by Joo Ji-hoon. A graduate of the military academy who attained the rank of captain. He has a serious secret that he cannot reveal to anyone. Following an event on Mount Jiri, he began to have confusing images of fatalities taking place on the mountain. He becomes a ranger because he believes the mountain is calling him to save them. As he treks through the mountains with senior ranger Yi-kang, they become real partners, even entrusting each other with their life. He eventually discovers something horrific concealed in Mount Jiri, which changes his perspective on the lovely mountains and the people who live there.
