Joseph Joestar

The primary character in Battle Tendency, the second installment of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and the second JoJo in the series, is Joseph Joestar. In addition, he makes appearances as a subsidiary ally in Diamond is Unbreakable and a key ally in Stardust Crusaders. Joseph, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, is a born Ripple user who eventually became a Stand user. An energetic troublemaker with a remarkable gift for deceit, Joseph battles vampires, the Pillar Men, and evil Stand users with initiative and remarkable creativity as he confronts the amazing perils that he faces throughout his life.

Joseph Joestar has a humorous side and enjoys spending half of his battles reveling in his ability to outwit his opponent by coming up with absolutely ridiculous ideas that catch his opponents off guard. Joseph, who is well-known for being witty and erratic, brings a vivid sense of humor to the series' violent and action-packed environment. His proclivity for exaggerated reactions and extravagant antics, together with his astute, though unconventional, combat techniques, have rendered him a noteworthy figure in the anime community.
