Kainos Group is a Belfast-based IT company with 15 locations in the United Kingdom (Kainos is headquartered in London, the UK), Ireland, continental Europe, and the United States that focuses on two business areas: digital service and workday practice. It employs over 1,700 people globally and operates on the simple idea of making life easier for its global clients through technology.

Digital Services involve the creation and maintenance of digital solutions for government and commercial customers across their entire life cycle. Workday Practice combines cloud-based software for Human Capital Management as well as Financial Management and Planning. The Digital Services segment generates most of the company's revenue.

It is proud of its pandemic-related projects in the UK, which have included helping the government with technology that facilitates self-isolation, home testing, and Covid 19 contact tracing. It is the first Northern Irish tech business to join the FTSE 100. It has also helped in the handling of financial payments to those in need, as well as the management of repatriation flights.
