Kering is a French multinational corporation and company headquartered in Paris, France that specializes in luxury goods such as jewelry, watches, designer bags, shoes and clothing. Group-owned luxury brands include Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, and more. In 1963, the company was founded by François Pinault.
Kering has received many prestigious awards that confirm its position in the fashion industry: in 2014, 2015, Kering was recognized as an "Industry leader" by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index; and selected in 2018 as "World's 50 Most Sustainable Companies" at the SEAL Business Sustainability Awards and "Most Sustainable Textile, Apparel and Luxury Goods Group" in the Corporate Knights Global 100 index in World Economic Forum in Davos.
