Kinindo Beach, Bujumbura

Kinindo Beach is located in Bujumbura, on Burundi's western coast. This beach is ideal for unwinding, with soft golden sand and clear blue waves in a tranquil setting. There is a little beach bar nearby that plays fantastic music and serves delicious beverages. It's not well-known, and it's largely visited by locals, so it's a quiet, uncrowded beach.

The sand is powder soft on most days, and the waves are small to non-existent. The water is shallow and stays that way for a long way out into the ocean. Kinindo Beach is a family-friendly beach with bathwater-warm waters that youngsters won't want to leave.
