KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer
Despite stiff competition, the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer outperformed the other mixers we tested. Because this is a tilt-head mixer, all you have to do is tip the head back to access the 5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl. The KitchenAid Artisan muscled through 10 minutes of kneading bread dough like it was nothing, and the consequence was a silky, glistening, and precisely blended ball of dough with almost no residual bits sticking to the bowl's sides. When it came to beating egg whites, this electric mixer swirled more air than any of the other mixers we tried, and it only took three minutes. The end product was a large quantity of puffy, stiff-peak egg whites that could be utilized to make a beautiful meringue. When using the paddle attachment to make chocolate chip cookie dough, each ingredient was well combined, leaving no flour residue and only a few smears of butter on the sides of the bowl.
A dough hook, whisk, paddle attachment, and splash guard are included with the mixer. However, you can add up to ten more accessories to this KitchenAid mixer to make it even more flexible. A meat grinder, pasta maker, sausage stuffer, and other appliances are among them. On a lighter note, you can choose from over 40 hues (some of which are the same hue but are matte or shiny).
