Korean Made Simple is one of the best Korean learning books online. freeThis textbook is for people who are just starting to learn Korean. It's easy to follow and has sections that cover basic grammar and reading. As you go through the lessons, you'll notice a strong focus on modal verbs and questions, which helps you make good progress initially. If you want to get a good grasp of Korean, including its grammar and vocabulary, this book can be handy.

One of the best things about Korean Made Simple is its organized structure. It's beneficial for people who like to have a clear study plan. You won't have to jump between different sections or be very flexible in your approach; if you stick with this book, your learning process will be smooth and well-structured.

You can skim through the more detailed lessons if you feel they are not helping you much. While they can be exciting and provide context that enables you to remember things, they are not the main focus unless you want to learn more in-depth. This textbook introduces Korean Honorifics in the second volume (Korean Made Simple 2), which helps prevent confusion early on. It was published in 2014, so it has up-to-date content and provides relevant examples of conversations.

You won't find audio included with these textbooks, but you can download MP3 files for free from the author's website. There are levels 2 and 3 in this series, as well as a workbook. This structured textbook is an excellent choice for building a solid foundation in the Korean language.
