Kukahiko Estate

MAUI offers resorts, churches, lavender fields, botanical gardens, and sandy beaches, but if you want to have your wedding and celebration on the water, there are various estates to consider. The Kukahiko Estate in Makena is one of my favorites. It has been in the family for decades, and it has a two-bedroom house and a wonderful kitchen for your caterer to use. The patio or lanai space can be used as a dance floor or for your event.

This place is exotic, and the view is breathtaking. You can exchange your vows on the rocky beach or the large grassy lawn, both with the ocean right there and other islands in the distance, without having to worry about sand going in the wrong places. If you opt to marry during whale season (mid-December to mid-April), you may be surprised by extra special guests appearing in your photos. Kukahiko Estates is ideal for a smaller wedding with an after-party in the same location.
