Lake Cunningham
Lake Cunningham is a lake on northern New Providence Island in the Bahamas and the second largest after Lake Killarney. This 200-acre park located near Eastridge Mall is centered around a 50-acre lake and is home to Raging Water Theme Park and Lake Cunningham Regional Skate Park. Lake Cunningham is stocked with a variety of fish. Fishing is allowed at no charge; however, all California fishing laws apply and a fishing license is required if you are 16 years of age or older. The Marina also offers rentals of pedal boats, kayaks, and sailboat equipment. Both the Marina and Raging Waters are open seasonally. Recreational activities include tent camping, mindless sailing, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, and horseback riding.
The vision for lake Cunningham is built around creating a positive outdoor experience through programs that meet the needs of the area and create lasting memories for individuals and families. When the park opened in 2021, lake Cunningham was fully invested in providing youth outdoor education programs with no associated costs. This is the beautiful lake surrounded by woods - a perfect spot to see some of the island's most beautiful birds. Therefore, lake Cunningham deserves to become one of the best lakes to visit in the Bahamas.
