Lake Cunningham is a lake on northern New Providence Island in the Bahamas and the second largest after Lake Killarney. This 200-acre park located near Eastridge Mall is centered around a 50-acre lake and is home to Raging Water Theme Park and Lake Cunningham Regional Skate Park. Lake Cunningham is stocked with a variety of fish. Fishing is allowed at no charge; however, all California fishing laws apply and a fishing license is required if you are 16 years of age or older. The Marina also offers rentals of pedal boats, kayaks, and sailboat equipment. Both the Marina and Raging Waters are open seasonally. Lake Killarney is a 293-acre lake, that has a maximum depth of 8 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, and Northern Pike. This is a large lake with beautiful wooded shores and a large population of island birds. Less than a 10-minute drive from the city center, it is also famous for its 645-hectare Killarney Lake Park and more than 30 km of multi-use trails along with open recreation areas, swimming beaches, courtyards, and golf courses play and the Killarney Lake Rotary Centennial Lodge. The park is surrounded by natural landscapes and Acadian forests with an important ridge that runs through the northeastern part of the park. Lake Killarney, also known as Petty Lake, is a shallow lake on New Providence Island in the Bahamas, and the largest on the island. Considered hidden from view, it is located just east of Lynden Pindling International Airport. It connects to the smaller Lake Nancy to its north through a canal made for canoeing. Lake Killarney is bounded by marshland and mangrove cays. Bird species such as Coots and ducks rest amongst the mangroves. Lake Rosa, also known as lake Windsor, is a large wetland that occupies most of the 184,000-acre Inagua National Park that, in 1965, became the second nature reserve to be assigned to the fledgling Bahamas National Trust. The park's history is inextricably linked with the existence of flamingos - the "king" of Bahamian birds. Although the Bahamas later passed legislation to protect wild birds such as flamingos, when the National Flamingo Union, surveyed the Caribbean in 1950, they noticed that many nesting sites for flamingos, the cranes have disappeared - due to the expansion of the human population. In Inagua itself, it is reported that the number of flamingos has dropped to about a thousand.

Lake Rosa is a massive 19 km long saline inland wetland that occupies almost a quarter of Inagua National Park. This is the largest saltwater lake in the Bahamas. It is also home to more bird species than anywhere in the Bahamas and is known as an Important Bird Area (IBA). There is a vibrant population of flamingos at the lake and is surrounded by a large number of other bird species, such as the native Bahama parrot, the endemic Bahama wood-star hummingbird, the Bahama macaw, the brown pelican, the three herons, the skunk, red macaw, cormorant, Roseate spoonbill, and American kestrel.
