Levi Strauss & Co.
An American apparel firm called Levi Strauss & Co. is well-known throughout the world for its Levi's brand of denim jeans. When Levi Strauss, a German immigrant, relocated from Buttenheim, Bavaria, to San Francisco, California, to launch a west coast outpost of his brothers' New York dry goods company, it was established in May 1853. The company's corporate headquarters are in Levi's Plaza in San Francisco, even though the corporation is registered in Delaware.
Due to the availability of low-cost labor and raw materials as of 2019, the vast majority of Levi's are produced abroad in a number of developing nations, including India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Indonesia. However, some items from the "Levi's Premium" and "Levi's Vintage Clothing" labels are produced here. Along with whole lines of shirts, coats, sweaters, undergarments, socks, eyewear, accessories, dresses, skirts, and leather goods, the company produces much more than just jeans. Fit, narrow, slim, straight, bootcut, taper, relaxed, flare, and "large & tall" are the many types of pants and jeans that are distinguished by three-digit trademarks. The 501, the business's original modern design, is offered in both male and female versions. The rest of the 500 series is designed for men.
