The Lighthouse Phuket is a British-owned and operated primary school that provides an expanded Cambridge Curriculum to children aged 5 to 11 years old, with a focus on academic, personal, and international development.
The current educational system was created in the 1800s when the majority of people worked in manufacturing.
Employees could send their children to school while they worked. Children were taught how to be productive manufacturing workers. This technique worked when most people worked in factories, and it can still work if you want to raise children to be good employees.
