Limon Province
You can find it all in Costa Rica's Limon Province: stunning natural scenery, tranquil beaches, and vibrant culture. Tortuguero National Park is the area's top tourist destination. In this national park, in September, nature lovers can discover the turtle breeding season. In addition to Tortuguero, travelers can relax at the opulent shorelines along Limon's verdant Caribbean coast and indulge in mouthwatering seafood by the beach.
The Caribbean region is a natural wonderland made up of lush jungles, mighty mountains, and idyllic beaches. In Costa Rica, Limon has the biggest proportion of protected territory, as well as a diverse range of plants and animals. Both its vegetation and the cultures found throughout the province are vibrant. The spectacular Braulio Carrillo National Park, which marks the beginning of the picturesque journey to the Caribbean lowlands, is traversed by the road from San Jose to Limon. Tortuguero National Park, in the province of Limon's north, is arguably its most vibrant area.
