By the end of the summer, the frantic crowds in Japan become less intense. Kyoto's gardens and majestic shrines are a picture of perfection when the trees are gold and scarlet. One of the largest events conducted in the Meguro district of the city is the Meguro Kumin Matsuri, or Meguro Sun Festival, which takes place in mid-September. The fiesta features cuisine from all over the country as well as regional specialties.
Tokyo is a terrific choice if you want to visit a place where the food is fantastic, there is always something to do, and the culture is very different from what you are used to. Everyone should visit this city at least once throughout their lives because it is one of the most fascinating, stimulating, and occasionally bizarre cities in the entire world. Tokyo offers all of that and more, whether you visit there for shopping, dining, or simply to experience other cultures.
But all of this has a cost. Tokyo is one of the priciest cities in Asia to visit and live in, and the costs might be prohibitive, especially if you're on a tight budget. But to have fun in Tokyo, you don't have to blow all of your money.
