Lululemon Athletica

Founded by Chip Wilson in Vancouver, Canada in 1998, lululemon is a technical, yoga-inspired athletic apparel company for women and men. What began as a design studio by day and yoga studio by night quickly became an independent boutique in November 2000 on West 4th Avenue in the Kitsilano neighborhood of Vancouver.

The vision for their store was to create more of a place where people could sweat, they wanted to create a community hub where people could learn and discuss the physical aspects of their lives. healthy lifestyle, mindfulness and living a viable life. It is important for them to forge real relationships with the guests and understand what they are passionate about, how they like to sweat and help them celebrate their goals. Today, they do this in their stores across the globe.

Their first designs were created for women to wear while doing yoga. Through numerous feedbacks from guests, ambassadors and elite athletes, they are now designing yoga, running, cycling, workout and most other sweat pursuits for women and men. Not to mention, their designers are also athletes and vivacious people.
