Lutembe Beach

Lutembe Beach is located in Wakiso District, four kilometers from Kampala Entebbe Road. It lies directly next to the Lutembe wetlands, a well-known bird refuge and home to Uganda's white-winged terns. Lutembe Beach is perfect for birdwatchers and photographers of all skill levels.

And, unlike many other beaches in Uganda, Lutembe is open to the public and free to visit. The beach is clean and well-suited for camping. Rent a boat and head to the rose flower garden for a beautiful glimpse of the many aquatic birds.

Some resorts have full services such as bars restaurants swimming pools, volleyball, fishing, bird watching, camping, and cottage lodging for you and your family.
