Maria Nila
Ulf and Ann-Marie Nilsson started Maria Nila with the goal of creating compassionate, effective, and environmentally responsible hair products. They began with a modest salon in Stockholm, where they tested several recipes and ingredients. They quickly discovered there was a market for vegan hair products that could cater to various hair types and demands. They decided to grow their company and create their own brand, Maria Nila.
The philosophy of Maria Nila is built on three pillars: quality, sustainability, and innovation. They exclusively utilize natural and organic ingredients that are PETA, Leaping Bunny, and Vegan Society-approved. They also avoid sulfates, parabens, silicones, and other harsh chemicals that can cause hair and scalp damage. Their products come in 100% recyclable plastic bottles that can be reused or recycled multiple times.
The color-preserving ingredient in Maria Nila's shampoos helps to keep the brilliance and sheen of colored hair. True Soft for blondes, Sheer Silver for grays, Luminous Color for reds, and Pure Volume for brunettes are among the shampoo lines available. Each line has its own distinct aroma and chemicals that are tailored to the individual requirements of each hair color.
The scalp therapy system of Maria Nila's shampoos helps to balance the pH level and moisture of the scalp. Head & Hair Heal for dandruff and hair loss, Structure Repair for damaged hair, Eco Therapy Revive for dry scalp, and Scalp Scrub for oily scalp are some of their shampoo products. Each brand has its own distinct recipe and ingredients that soothe, treat, and revitalize the scalp.
