It's no surprise that the Iron Man costume is one of the most popular Halloween costumes. Aside from being one of today's most popular characters in pop culture, the suit is notable for its futuristic humanoid appearance. With the success of the Marvel films in the past decade, more and more trick-or-treaters (adults and kids alike) are creating Iron Man suits, even with very limited funds.

This Mark III Iron Man suit, composed of polyurethane plastic and fiberglass resin, costs $4,999, making it the most expensive Halloween costume to date. The costume also includes LED lights and sound effects to resemble Robert Downey, Jr.'s suit from the "Iron Man" and "Avengers" movies. Despite its realistic appearance, it is difficult to put on and allows limited mobility.
