Master Roshi
Known as the Turtle recluse, the God of Martial Arts and one of the best elderly anime characters of all time, Master Roshi is a twisted recluse and martial arts expert. He lives on Kame House, a secluded island, and might be open to teaching students who come to him. The Kamehameha Wave is another invention attributed to him. It was Master Roshi who taught Goku and Krillin how to fight. He also showed them how to perform his hallmark movie, the Kamehameha. Goku now uses this as his signature move, and other Z Fighters do the same from time to time.
Roshi is a well-known and skilled warrior who acts as the master of Gohan, Ox-King, Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha despite his lecherous habits and senior age. He is one of the most well-known supporting characters in the series because of his ambition to help his students reach new heights and be supportive of them throughout their martial arts journeys.
Roshi is so devoted to his students that he entered the World Martial Arts Tournament under the name "Jackie Chun" in order to guarantee their defeat. He did this because he was worried that if his students won too easily thanks to their incredible strength, they would lose interest in martial arts. He proved that he is still a strong fighter in Dragon Ball Super during the Tournament of Power. In spite of Goku and Krillin's entreaties, Master Roshi proved that he still had enough strength for battle.
