Master’s Sun (2013)
A melodrama with some horror overtones called "Master's Sun" is about the director of the Kingdom shopping mall, Ju Jung Won (played by So Ji Sub). This man is renowned for being aloof, cold, and calculating. After being involved in a car accident, fate brought him into contact with Tae Gong Sil (Gong Hyo Jin), a mysterious girl with the gift of seeing ghosts. The ghosts Gong Sil sees always terrify and frighten him. But she stopped seeing these spirits while she was with Jung Won. She makes every effort to be in Jung Won's vicinity. From this point on, strange things start to happen.
Master's Sun is a love story, however, it does not contain any aspects of terror. Thus, the drama by Ji Sub is a tale of familial love as well as the love between men and women. Along with the funny details, the film also shows the suffering and death wishes of unsatisfied souls. The film starring So Ji Sub got an 18% national rating, according to a TNmS Rating survey. The film received a 17.2% national rating from AGB Nielsen.
