Rough Cut (2008)

Rough Cut is a spin-off of So Ji Sub's film. The movie “Rough Cut” was released in 2008 and was directed by Jang Hoon. So Ji Sub plays Gang Pae, a handsome gangster who accidentally meets Soo Ta (played by Kang Ji-Hwan), a famously grumpy actor. The story gets more interesting when Soo Ta invites Gang Pae to join her action movie. Rough Cut depicts beautiful and attractive fighting scenes.

Aside from the gripping plot, So Ji Sub and Kang Ji Hwan's acting is also outstanding. So Ji Sub's role in this drama has few phrases, but his look says it all. The deep emotions hiding beneath this man's calm, attractive visage will capture you. This film stresses humanity and is permeated with a gypsy spirit, which helped the picture to be liked by a great number of Korean moviegoers, and So Ji Sub also got many prestigious honors with this film.
