Mayrhofen
Due to its mellow slopes, year-round boarding, and 45 km of beginner pistes, Mayrhofen in the Austrian Zillertal Valley is a well-liked ski destination with snowboarders. When you're ready to go to freeriding, the adjacent Zillertal region also provides a number of different terrains, so you can really let fly. Burton Snow Park, a well-liked location for beginners to practice freestyle, is also located in the town. One of the best snowboarding festivals on the yearly calendar, Snowbombing, is the major attraction of Mayrhofen. There are 133km of pistes, a glacier, and other activities to keep you busy even if you can't arrange your trip to coincide with the celebrations.
Austria is ski-crazy but Mayrhofen has some fantastic snowboarding opportunities. Amazing freeride terrain is available both above and below the tree line at the Austrian resort. A top-notch snow park with a variety of jumps and rails to attempt is Vans Penken Park. The course is kept in excellent shape during the entire season by a group of skilled shapers. The resort is among the best for snowboarding in the Alps because of the ski area and lift system that makes it simple for riders to navigate the mountain.
