Val Thornes is a fantastic first pick for novice snowboarders looking for diversity thanks to the varied terrain, superb snowparks, and simple access to the neighboring ruins of Les Menuires, Meribel, and Courchevel. It should be noted that the Rond Point des Pistes is especially kind to novice snowboarders and has lots of mellow slopes to help you get the hang of the sport. In addition, there are 29 blue runs, 11 green runs, and five nursery areas that descend all the way to the Belleville Valley.
