Midnight Runners (2017)
Park Seo Joon's first movie is Midnight Runners. Despite the fact that he merely "fired the first shot", he rapidly established himself as a force in this genre. In Midnight Runners, he and Kang Ha Neul shook hands and became friends as they transitioned from dramas to films. Kang Ha Neul plays Kang Hee Yeol, while Park Seo Joon plays Park Ki Joon. While Ki Joon is a reckless individual with "hands faster than intellect", the other individual is a bookworm and introvert.
The two performers took on the roles of students at the elite Korean National Police University. They witness a kidnapping one night on their way back from the club, and while they instantly reported it to the police station, they are preoccupied with the kidnapping of the son of a powerful businessman and thus cannot pursue the case. They couldn't stop investigating after discovering that the kidnappers were involved in a women's egg trafficking operation. The film not only makes viewers laugh, but it also reminds them of important matters.
