Monash University
Monash University is a public research university in Melbourne, Australia. The name was inspired by Sir John Monash, a well-known World War I general. Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Laws and Arts, Laws and Biomedical Science, Laws and Commerce, and others are among the legal degrees available. Monash University is a member of Australia's Group of Eight research universities, as well as the ASAIHL and the M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centers, Universities, and National Academies. It is the only Australian member of the M8 Alliance.
Monash University's major research facilities include the Monash Law School, the Australian Synchrotron, the Monash Science Technology Research and Innovation Precinct (STRIP), the Australian Stem Cell Centre, the Victorian College of Pharmacy, and 100 research centers and 17 co-operative research centers. It made a total of $2.72 billion (AUD) in revenue in 2019, with $462 million in revenue from external research. In 2019, Monash University has approximately 55,000 undergraduate and 25,000 graduate students enrolled. In Victoria, the university receives the highest number of applications.
