Mondly (Chinese)

Mondly was one of the first language apps to use augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) for online language learning, and it is still one of the few that caters to both adults and children. It's a lovely online app with easy navigation through the course material.

Mondly is comparable to Busuu, Duolingo, and Babbel in that it offers classes in a variety of languages. There are even hints of Rosetta Stone in the way the lessons are delivered.While the program lacks sophisticated content and grammar training, it is a fun way to learn and quiz oneself on vocabulary items.

To make the experience more realistic, you get a "teacher" who is powered by artificial intelligence. Mondly is perhaps better suited as a supplement for serious language learners, but it does offer 33 languages for a modest fee in one subscription. Mondly stands out because it incorporates speech recognition, augmented reality, and a virtual artificial intelligence (AI) teacher into the learning experience. The free trial is essentially a "freemium" version that gives you unlimited access to a few lessons.

The Mondly web app is available on Google Play and the Apple Store for mobile, but it may be used in any browser.
