Monogaga Beach
Monogaga Beach is a tropical beach with white sand that is considered to be one of the best in Ivory Coast. It's in the same village as the name suggests, between San Pedro and Sassandra. This beach is popular with both locals and visitors who come to enjoy the dynamic atmosphere and scenic environment, to practice surfing and diving, or simply to sunbathe and swim in the turquoise waves of the Atlantic Ocean, and to play beach volleyball. The beach frequently organizes surfing competitions, entertainment events, sand drawing competitions, live music, and playgrounds. Tourists can also sample traditional Western African fish meals.
This expansive and tranquil sandy beach is framed by lush greenery and offers breathtaking views. The water is calm and safe for swimming. There are local food vendors in the vicinity, but you can also bring your own food and have a picnic. Keep in mind that the entry route is challenging; yet, this keeps the beach relatively empty.
