Sassandra Beach
Sassandra Beach is a lengthy stretch of sand bordered by tropical vegetation and mountains. There are also several ancient lighthouses on its grounds that are open for tours. Not far from here is a vibrant hamlet, a palm grove, and a lovely park. Sassandra is well-known for its beautiful white sand, which is ideal for walking barefoot. It has warm and transparent water, pure air, and a quiet and tranquil atmosphere. The weather is usually sunny and windless here. There are no underwater streams at the sea's entry.
Guests may enjoy the greatest Ivory Coast cuisine and drinks, as well as kayaking and marine excursions. They are taken on fishing trips, hikes, and are taught rowing and traditional crafts. Sunbathing, swimming, and simply walking on the beach are popular pastimes for lazy travelers.
The local village provides hairdressing services, as well as the ability to purchase water and food and learn about culture. They also sell the most delectable fish in West Africa. Nonetheless, Sassandra is still a half-wild beach. There are no tourist throngs, loud parties, or a large number of vendors.
Sassandra is a sub-prefecture of and the seat of Sassandra Department. It is also a commune and the seat of Gbôklé Region in Bas-Sassandra District.
