My Gently Raised Beast by Early Flower
South Korean webcomic "My Gently Raised Beast" is created by Early Flower. It was first released in 2017 on the webtoon platform Naver Webtoon and quickly became well-known for its original plot and cast of characters. The narrative centers on Yoon Sunwoo, a young woman who is employed by an affluent family to care for their pet tiger, Madok.
Yoon Sunwoo and Madok's relationship changes dramatically during "My Gently Raised Beast" as a whole. Sunwoo initially views Madok primarily as a ferocious and dangerous beast, but as she gets to know him better, she starts to realize his compassionate and protective side. Additionally, she learns that Madok can change into a human, which strengthens her relationship with him. Sunwoo cares for Madok and spends more time with him. As a result of her growing affections for Madok, she starts to doubt both her own humanity and the social standards that define what is acceptable in terms of interactions between people and animals.
