Nasdaq Nordic
Nasdaq Nordic is the generic name for a subsidiary of Nasdaq, Inc., which provides financial services and operates a stock exchange in the northern and Baltic regions of Europe. As of March 2021, a total of 832 companies are listed on thí bourse.
This operation was historically known as OMX AB (Aktiebolaget Optionsmäklarna / Helsinki Stock Exchange) and was established in 2003 through the merger of OM AB and HEX plc. In 2015, OMX AB was renamed Nasdaq AB, but also operates under the pseudonym Nasdaq OMX AB and has been a part of Nasdaq, Inc. since February 2008. (formerly known as the Nasdaq OMX Group).
