Navajo Falls
Navajo Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Arizona, located in the Havasupai Indian Reservation, within the Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States. The waterfall was formed by a side channel of the Havasu Creek, which flows through the reservation and creates a series of stunning waterfalls and pools.
Navajo Falls used to be a double waterfall, but a flash flood in 2008 changed the landscape, causing one of the falls to disappear and creating a new series of cascades and pools. Today, the falls drop about 75 feet into a turquoise pool, surrounded by lush vegetation and red rock formations.
Navajo Falls is a popular destination for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, offering a chance to experience the beauty and power of nature in a unique and spectacular setting. Visitors can swim in the pool at the base of the falls, relax on the rocks, and enjoy the cool mist and refreshing spray of the waterfall.
The Havasupai Indian Reservation is home to several other stunning waterfalls and natural attractions, including Mooney Falls, Havasu Falls, and Beaver Falls. Visitors are encouraged to respect the natural environment and to follow Leave No Trace principles to help preserve the area for future generations.
