One of the most famous chocolates in the world today is Kit Kat, a product currently distributed by Nestlé, one of the largest confectionery companies in the world. KitKat is a chocolate-covered sponge cake that is very popular in many countries, especially Japan where a museum is built for this product, making many people mistakenly believe that KitKat is a Japanese brand. In fact, this chocolate was invented by Rowntree in England.

According to a Nestle report, about 700 KitKat bars are consumed every second around the world, equivalent to 22 billion bars consumed every year. A Kit Kat bar usually has 2 or 4 pieces, these pieces can be detached from the candy bar easily. Kit Kat has three layers: chocolate coating on the outside, and sponge cake inside. There are many different flavors of Kit Kat besides the traditional ones such as green tea, cocoa, etc. In Japan, there are more than 300 different flavors.
