New is the nickname of Thitipoom Tacha-apaikun. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on January 30, 1993. He received his electrical engineering bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Engineering and his business administration master's degree from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, both from Chulalongkorn University.

New began her career as a model and joined Tay, Off (ranked number 8), Aun, Gun Korawit, and Pariyawit Suwittayawat as one of the new hosts of Bang Channel's "Five Live Fresh" in 2014. He began his acting career the same year in Room Alone as a supporting character before moving up to the lead role in Room Alone 2 (2015). The most noteworthy of his significant parts in the BL series is Dark Blue Kiss (2019), in which he co-stars with Tay Tawan Vihokratana. He also received roles in Water Boyy (2017) and Kiss Me Again (2018).

In addition to his work as an actor, New also co-owns a spa with Tay and his own web business, LookCatMe.
