Mario Maurer, nicknamed Oh, is an actor of Thai-Chinese and German descent from Bangkok. Mario became well-known for playing the title role in The Love of Siam. He is renowned for both his humor and his good looks. He appears in sitcoms and lakorns in Thailand, while being far more well-known in China. Additionally, he appeared in Low Season, Pee Mak, and Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

Due to his father's passion for Italian motorbikes, Mario-who is of German and Chinese descent-became known by his Italian last name. At Siam Square in Bangkok, a scout approached 16-year-old Maurer and asked him to be a model. What follows is history!
