Oasis is a place for the celebration of gay identity, joy, and inclusiveness. No bigotry of any kind—transphobia, homophobia, ableism, xenophobia, misogyny, or any other—is permitted in the venue or on our sizable dance floor.
The owner and artistic director of the highly regarded drag performance nightclub and cabaret OASIS in San Francisco is D'Arcy Drollinger. voted Best of the Bay in a number of categories, including Best Cabaret Venue and Best Drag Show. In an 8,000-square-foot former gay bathhouse, Oasis offers an unparalleled San Francisco nightlife experience. It opened on New Year's Day 2015 in the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco. The wide lineup of programming at OASIS includes drag performers from the area and abroad, cabaret and performing artists, live musical performances, incredible DJs, and more.
They have around 150 drag queens living there, and they employ over 30 people from the Bay Area. They are attempting to be creative, and rather than remaining in the dark, they are performing on a digital stage! They broadcast new content, such as their weekly show Hot Trash, on their OasisTV YouTube page in addition to previously recorded stage performances.
