Its purpose is to reduce the appearance of fine lines while improving the elasticity and firmness of the skin. The formula is what distinguishes it.

Dr. Hadley King of New York City says this "provides the ideal combination of humectants like hyaluronic acid, emollients like triglycerides, and occlusives to hydrate, support the skin barrier, and lock in moisture." It also contains niacinamide, which is beneficial for tone and texture, as well as anti-aging peptides. It's fragrance-free and gentle enough for sensitive skin." Because of its lightweight but creamy texture, it sinks into the skin rather than simply sitting on top of it.

There isn't much that Olay Regenerist doesn't have going for it. The moisturizer comes in both scented and fragrance-free varieties. The scented version has a citrus scent, which should be avoided if you have sensitive skin. While this is available at your local drugstore, it is not the most affordable moisturizer on the market. If you're on a tight budget, this may be a bit of a splurge.
