Oneida Lake
Oneida Lake has an advantage over the other, bigger New York sights. It is the largest lake wholly contained inside the borders of New York State, measuring 21 miles in length. Oneida Lake is a fantastic day trip destination and is just a 30-minute drive from Syracuse, one of the best cities in New York State.
Everything you might anticipate is available at the lake, including skating, boating, swimming, and fishing. Additionally, due to its shallow depth, it is a popular summer destination for families.
Head to adjacent Sylvan Beach when it's time to dine or take a break from the sun's powerful beams. Aside from the amusement park, which is one of the main attractions for kids, this area has a large variety of stores and eateries.
