Overlord

Based on the Kugane Maruyama & so-bin light novel series of the same name, "Overlord" is an anime series. From July to September 2015, Madhouse created the anime adaption. It contains continuing episodes and several seasons. "Overlord" takes place in the immersive online game Yggdrasil's virtual universe, which is going to close down. Momonga, a formidable skeletal wizard and the head of the Ainz Ooal Gown guild, makes the decision to continue playing the game until the game servers are shut down. When the game's closure time arrives, Momonga is unable to check out and is instead left playing as his character.

Momonga adopts the name Ainz Ooal Gown in this new reality and starts to explore the universe, which has evolved into a genuine and functional realm with NPCs (non-player characters) attaining awareness. He searches for other players who might also have been stuck in this new world as Ainz Ooal Gown in order to learn the truth about it.

Action, adventure, fantasy, and game-like mechanics are all present in "Overlord." It examines issues related to morality, power, and the effects of total control. As he builds his authority over the new planet, forms alliances, and comes into contact with other strong entities, the series follows Ainz Ooal Gown. With its sophisticated world-building, tactical fights, and study of the protagonist's moral quandaries, "Overlord" provides an overall engrossing and gloomy fantasy experience.
