OVHcloud
OVHcloud is a French cloud computing company that offers virtual private servers (VPS), dedicated servers, and other web services. In 2016, OVH has the world's largest data center in terms of surface area. In terms of physical servers, it was the largest hosting provider in Europe and the third largest in the globe as of 2019. The company was founded in 1999 by the Klaba family and is headquartered in Roubaix, France. OVH is structured as a simplified joint-stock corporation under French legislation. In 2019, OVHcloud became its public brand name.
As of 2021, OVH had 32 data centers in 19 countries with 300,000 servers. The firm provides localized services, such as customer support offices, in a number of European countries, as well as in North America, Africa, and Singapore. OVH is one of the world's largest cloud computing firms, with over a million subscribers and one of the world's largest OpenStack deployments, as well as a network capacity of more than 20 Tbps, as of 2019.
