Paragon Private & International School
In 2014, Paragon Private and International School was founded. The school had a well-designed campus that was ideally situated in Plentong. The school seeks to develop each student's body, mind, and spirit while shaping them into future leaders and equipping them with leadership abilities that will benefit society.
Both Paragon Private and International School, which offer primary and secondary education, are located on the campus—the Primary and Secondary courses for the Cambridge IGCSE and the National Curriculum (Malaysia Syllabus). A robust faculty of teaching staff supports the school complex's contemporary amenities, which include a rooftop garden, interactive resources, a sports center, an auditorium, and a lifestyle library.
For students enrolled in the International Curriculum, Paragon International School offers an integrated curriculum with the best ideas from Singapore and the United Kingdom (UK). Every student at Paragon International School will receive coaching in Singapore's curriculum in addition to following the CIE curriculum provided by Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
Upon completion of primary schooling, students will take the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint exam, which is intended to support their learning by offering in-depth feedback on their areas of strength and weakness in the three core curriculum subjects: science, math, and English.
The CIE Curriculum for England and Wales includes the humanities subjects, with modifications made for regional variations. Students will take the Primary Checkpoint Assessment in the three core subjects of science, math, and English after year six.
Students follow the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum in Years 7 through 9, covering the same subjects as the Cambridge Primary School Curriculum. In Year 9, students take the Cambridge Secondary Checkpoint in Science, English, and Mathematics. The British National Curriculum covers the humanities, just like it does in elementary school.
The purpose of the Cambridge Secondary 1 Checkpoint exams is to evaluate students upon completion of the course. Before students move on to the next level of education, they provide insightful feedback on their strengths and weaknesses. They are offered in the following languages: Science, Math, English as a second language, and English.
The most widely used international qualification for students aged 14 to 16 is the Cambridge IGCSE. It is accepted as an international passport to success and advancement by prestigious universities and companies across the globe. Created more than 25 years ago, schools worldwide have tried, tested, and trusted it.
Students in Year 4 or Primary 4 and up are required to participate in at least one CCA. While some CCAs are led and taught by school teachers, others might be taught by a coach or professional instructor from outside the school (which would incur an additional course fee and GST). Paragon Private and International School maintains the authority to terminate any CCA.
