Peppermint Mocha

Even casual Starbucks customers have probably had a taste of the delectable Peppermint Mocha. According to a Mashed poll, the most popular Starbucks holiday drink is the Peppermint Mocha. It's easy to see why, given that it contains "a perfect balance of refreshing mint and warm chocolate", as Bustle put it. According to the chain, the drink contains two shots of espresso, four pumps of peppermint syrup, whipped cream, and dark chocolate curls. The last two are toppings that must be sipped quickly before it all melts.

The Peppermint Mocha is Starbucks' second drink to celebrate the "red cup" season, which refers to the time of year when hot Starbucks cups are colored for the holidays. Peppermint Mocha has been around since 2002 and shows no signs of slowing down (via Starbucks). Even the company admits that it is the most popular holiday item.
