Peter David

Politician Peter David is from Grenada and was born in 1957. He attended Essex University and Carleton University for his studies.


In the general election of November 2003, David ran for office in the Town of St. George as a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).


David was re-elected from the Town of St. George in the general election that was conducted on July 8, 2008. David was appointed Minister of Tourism and Foreign Affairs in the new NDC Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Tillman Thomas, and sworn in on July 13, 2008, after the NDC gained a majority of seats in this election. After that, he was the Minister of Tourism until April 30, 2012, when he announced his resignation from the Cabinet. After the New National Party (NNP) won the 2013 general election by a landslide, David afterwards joined the NNP and was named a Government Senator in the Grenada Senate.


In the 2018 general election, David ran successfully for the New National Party (NNP) in the Town of St. George seat. In the administration headed by Keith Mithcell, he was named Minister of Foreign Affairs.
