Pilgrim's Pride Corporation
Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, established in 1946, produces meat products for numerous international and national brands. It is one of the biggest chicken producers in the US and Puerto Rico and the second-largest chicken producer in Mexico.. It emerged from bankruptcy in December 2009, and in 2011 it moved its American headquarters to Greeley, Colorado. JBS S.A. owns the majority of it. In late November 2016, Pilgrim's Pride paid $350 million to acquire Gold'n Plump.
