Playing Polo

Polo is a horse-mounted ball game, a traditional field sport, and one of the oldest teams sports in history. Polo is frequently referred to as the sport of kings, and it is easy to understand why. It is one of the oldest team sports in the world and has a long history of being connected with opulence and money, going all the way back to ancient Persia.

The idea of the game is to score by using a long-handled wooden mallet to strike a small, hard ball through the goal of the other team. The game often lasts one to two hours and is broken into intervals known as "chukkas" or "chukkers." Each team has four mounted riders.

Polo is still one of the most exclusive sports today, with expensive facilities and high-end equipment. But despite these obstacles, the number of people who are interested in learning how to play polo has increased recently.

The game requires players to master horsemanship while simultaneously making split-second decisions on the field, making it the ideal fusion of athleticism and strategy. Polo can be a very gratifying activity for those who have the means to pursue it.
